All Dimpled and Slotted Brake Rotors for the 1974 Mercury Montego are precision-machined and finished in our U.S. facility. Every rotor is inspected using the strictest quality control standards and checked for compliance with factory dimensional specifications. Our rotors are manufactured from premium-quality cast iron that meets or exceeds G3500/ISO9002, QS9000/VDA 6.1 specifications. Our slot design removes water, dust, and debris whilst minimizing the heating of the pad surface. Slots that are machined in the center of the pad surface are inefficient and only collect dust. The edges of our slots are machine-rounded to achieve maximum degassing and dust removal.
Dimpled Drilled Holes
Each Dimpled-Drilled hole is perfectly sized to dissipate heat without sacrificing rotor strength. Dimpled Drilled Holes move air from the surface whilst reducing surface temperature, eliminating hot spots and warping. Dimpled holes are ideal for customers who prefer the look of drilled rotors but demand a structurally stronger brake rotor.
Zinc Plating In Black or Silver
Our Performance Rotors are zinc-coated in Black or Silver. The zinc coating process is an extensive hand-applied operation that is not sprayed on like inferior coatings. Each Performance Brake Rotor is immersed in different solution tanks throughout the coating process. The final result is a thick protective coating that will help prevent rusting and give you a great custom look.

Premium Semi Metallic Brake Pad Specifications
Brake Performance Premium Semi Metallic Brake Pads for the 1974 Mercury Montego are manufactured using the same positive molding process utilized by Original Equipment suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout the pad, resulting in even wear and performance characteristics throughout the life of the brake pad. How long will my order take to deliver?
For Performance Rotors, allow 2-3 business days before shipping in order to allow for the Custom Zinc Plating process. All other products ship out the next business day. On our shipping page, you will see a map that will show the UPS delivery times in the US.
Can I select a faster shipping option?
We offer overnight, 2-day, and 3-day UPS shipping. Our shipping options page will give you all of the different choices and costs. Expedited shipping options are not eligible for Brake Performance's Free Shipping.
Is shipping to a different location possible?
This is not a problem. Proceed to the customer information page and fill out the optional ship field in order for your shipment to deliver to a different location.
Do you ship to international and APO addresses?
Yes we do. Once you have filled out the "Customer Information" page, the next step is the "Shipping Option" page, which will give you all of the different shipping options and costs.
Will all my packages arrive at the same time?
All packages that relate to your order ship together from our warehouse. We use UPS as our freight carrier and cannot guarantee that they will deliver all packages at the same time.
Do I need to sign for my delivery when my order arrives?
All orders are shipped without a signature required. If you would like to sign for your shipment you must call us toll free at 866-756-5536 so that we can make the change to your order.
How do I track my order?
After placing your order, an email is sent to you containing a copy of your order and order number. When your order ships, you will also receive an email from Brake Performance with your tracking numbers. You can check your delivery schedule on our website under "Order Tracking" and enter your order number, name, or email address to track your order. Alternatively, you can go to ups.com and track it from there.
