Premium Replacement Brake Rotors
Many vehicle owners with OEM rotors experience vibrations and corrosion problems. Brake Performance Premium Brake Rotors solve these issues by machine-balancing each rotor for high-speed operation and applying a special corrosion-resistant coating capable of resisting 400 hours of direct saltwater exposure. Brake Performance also includes a lifetime warranty against materials and workmanship defects, and one year against warping and cracking.
Features
- Rotors are machine-balanced, surface-ground, double-disk smoothed and guaranteed to fit original equipment manufacturer specs, without any modification.
- Manufactured from premium-quality cast iron that meets or exceeds G3500/ISO9002, QS9000/VDA 6.1 specifications.
- Precision-machined to exact original equipment manufacturer dimensions and specifications.
- Includes a free black electrostatically applied rust preventative coating on all non-friction surfaces capable of withstanding 400 hours of salt water exposure.
- Premium Replacement brake rotors are backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship and a 1-year unlimited-mile warranty against warping and cracking.
Advantages
The Premium Replacement Brake Rotors for the 2018 Volvo S60, S60R include a proprietary black electrostatically-applied rust-preventative coating on all of the rotors’ non-friction surfaces, ideal for vehicles that have brake rotor rusting issues. These brake rotors are machine-balanced to a tolerance of less than 2 oz per inch. This machining process reduces feedback associated with rotor vibration and provides a smooth, confident application of braking force. All premium brake rotors are x-ray inspected and machined with a double-disk-ground taper-free smooth finish, providing quieter and smoother stops. Double-disc grinding leaves a non-directional finish for more effective pad-to-rotor break-in, extending the life of the brake pads. Our rotors are manufactured from premium-quality cast iron and guaranteed to fit original equipment manufacturer specs without modification. Our premium brake rotors include a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and one year against warping and cracking.

Premium Semi Metallic Brake Pad Specifications
Brake Performance Premium Semi Metallic Brake Pads are manufactured using the same positive molding process utilized by Original Equipment suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout the pad, resulting in even wear and performance characteristics throughout the life of the brake pad. The brake friction features either precision-cut or shaved backing plates, as well as mechanically-attached shims; these small details ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration. In addition, a scorching process has been added to all of the Premium Semi Metallic brake pads. This additional process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to greatly accelerate the break-in process. These Premium Semi-Metallic Brake Pads have the highest temperature fade resistance and friction level of any Brake Pads we sell. They are designed to give you the best stopping power in all weather conditions and guaranteed to give you noise-free braking with low brake pad dust.
Features
- Manufactured with a high heat range and high friction level to handle extreme heat generated by vehicles prone to warping brake rotors.
- Each set of Brake Pads includes metal shims to eliminate vibration and give you noise-free braking.
- Tough enough for heavy-duty applications but gentle on your rotors, prolonging the life of your brakes.
- Designed and manufactured with a positive molding process for stable friction performance and even wear.
- Precision-cut or shaved backing plates made to exact original equipment manufacturer dimensions and specifications.
- Special manufacturing process added to force impurities out of the friction material to accelerate the break-in process.
- Brake Performance Premium Semi Metallic Brake Pads are backed by a 90-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Each pad is exhaustively dynamometer and fleet-vehicle tested to meet and exceed all safety standards.
